Everything was perfect about this place! Such lovely and helpful host. Breakfast was always made with such love and attention. Rooms are clean and comfy. Garden is lush and green. The pools feels so good after a day in the sun. We felt just like home. Thank you for everything and the special gift for my mom. This is a lovely family business that feels just right. The lovely daughter also made us smile, such a sweet heart with an amazing fashion style haha Thank you!

Villas Tangerine, Samara, was by far the best Boutique Hotel we stayed at while in Costa Rica. The rooms were small but had very comfortable beds and A/C and that is all you need to sleep in this garden paradise. The grounds are beautiful, with a pool and back up to wonderful wide open pastureland with several hammocks to relax and take it all in.
Breakfasts were wonderfully and lovingly prepared by Jenna our adorable and lovely host. She makes the experience here even more enjoyable and memorable. I dream of returning sooner than later.Rooms5.0Service5.0Location5.0

We stayed in a private villa with its own pool at Villas Tangerine and it was pure magic. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, easy, and thoughtfully designed. The villa itself was beautiful—spacious, clean, and filled with natural light, with a private pool that felt like our own little sanctuary.
The surroundings are lush and quiet, perfect for relaxing, and we loved how close it was to great restaurants, the beach, and other local spots. Every detail, from the comfort of the bed to the quality of the service, made our stay feel special.
If you’re looking for a blend of privacy, beauty, and serenity, this place is a dream. We didn’t want to leave—and can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Spent 3 nights and wishing we had more time. The site is well maintained, offers wonderful vegetation, and a nice pool. It has all you may need. The room is clean, well decorated, spacious and allows to be well organized. Need and bathroom area are very comfortable. Common areas, patio, and pool are great to relax or to chit-chat with other guests! Villas Tangerine also has a great parking space with a gate for added security. Did I mention that we had a delicious breakfast every morning? 🥞
I must also say that the hosts and staff are really attentionate, available, and accommodating. You feel their love for the villa and it makes the stay even more enjoyable. This place is a gem!
The location was also perfect and at walking distance from grocery stores, restaurants, and beaches. ⛱️
